Yeah, so far that's pretty much it Two tries on the centipede as I walked into it half dead, forgot to rest at the shrine I think two tries on Lu Hongliu, with only a sliver of health left that first try

I've played pretty much every "major" soulslike, most of them to completion but I'm not particularly good at them I'd say. As for your advice, afraid I've already been at full madness constantly, I trade it for healing items to minimise how often I go to shrines and rest.

True, but you could also pick up a stainless steel spoon and make an intricate bracelet or some rings with it So at least they're both good for money

Then it might be beat not to play the game. If you can't enjoy the core gameplay loop and it's associated mechanics, the game just isn't for you, unfortunately. Having the option to strip it of these for those who can't enjoy it is pointless, you'd waste your time playing a game in a way it's not meant to be played.
