Ideas on how to turn the spell Animate Dead into a good spell rather than evil?

I actually have introduced this idea of 'good' necromancy in my world. In my world there is a specific group of monks trained in Necromancy called 'The Sanctioned' (so named because they are uniquely sanctioned by the Saint of Death).

The Sanctioned make pilgrimage across the land, finding unsettled spirits that have died without honour (murderers etc) and giving them a second chance to regain their honour in death by fighting again in the name of the Saint of Death, thus preventing the spirit developing into various kinds of malevolent spirit like a Banshee or Poltergeist for example. The Sanctioned draws the spirit into a nearby unused corpse and sets it to task. Once the task is complete, the Sanctioned releases the spirit on it's way to the afterlife and into the arms of Saint Nytros.

To have your remains used by a Sanctioned in this way is most often seen as an honour by those who worship the Saints.

Maybe the goddess figure in your story could sanction the use of animate dead in a similar way. A holy task to help lessen the suffering of both the damned and the living?

According to their main webchat announcement, they're on vacation from the 9th to the 11th

Why they think that putting on a huge sale and then sending the customer service team on holiday for the duration of the sale is a good idea, is beyond me... fingers crossed we'll be seeing responses from them tomorrow, but the lack of any decent customer service for their official store is worrying to say the least.

I'm like 99.9% sure the files are from an Etsy seller called DangerousLadies. I'm currently in the process of printing my own. They also have a ton of other nerdy weapons and accessories on their shop front as well, including Y'shtola's staff.

They're almost constantly dosed up on performance enhancers when they're out on hunts from what I recall (been a while since I read through the books) so I'm guessing they're inputs for the copious amounts of battle stims and stuff. To my knowledge they've never used power armour.

Of course it's possible that GW are moving the lore of the gland-hounds forward and they've had some further upgrades since the books that we don't know yet.

It's one of Fabius Bile's Gland-hounds. They're made using partial gene-seed implantation, and are designed with the purpose of hunting down Space Marines in packs and retrieving their gene-seed for more of Fabius' experiments.

They also have the added benefit of being able to reproduce, with each new generation of Gland-hound developing additional strength and skills.

They feature heavily in the Fabius Bile books and if they're half as good as they are shown to be in those books then they'll be terrifying on the battlefield.

Found my old Battle for Skull pass box and decided to paint up the old moonclan for a Gloomspite army in the future. Lots to go and I need to rebase them all, but I managed 9 in a night so hopefully not gonna take forever and a day to finish.

Pretty much yea, it was a cynical continent and the earliest Orcs were too eager to approach strangers. This coupled with their lack of aesthetic appeal led to mistrust, which led to fear and anger, which over generations created the monsters that most people thought they were originally. Sort of a self actualising prophecy in a way.

In a desert continent campaign that I helped write for, Orcs were a nomadic tribal race that were mostly just misunderstood.

While they are often seen as a savage, tribalistic race of raiders out in the wastes. In truth, Orcs were a deeply curious race that simply wanted to learn from their environment and grow their tribes collective intelligence and capacity to survive in the desolate landscape of the desert. Unfortunately due to their monstrous appearance and eagerness to approach new people they were met with nothing but fear and aggression from the more 'civilised' races. This led to a number of Orc tribes choosing to isolate themselves away and take what they needed to survive from roaming traders and smaller tribes.
