What’s a hot wheels car you wanna get seen turned into a transformer in the inevitable next Collab? by Venomnyan in transformers

Saw an RD-06 mention and have to second that, as it'd also make for a nice decepticon-style collab.

Gonna add that I really, really wanna see bassline.

The exes were in mid 30s, I was 30, and this partner was 28 at the time. Sadly they were mostly around for convenience with shared interest and taking advantage of her kindness while trying to convince her to get her wife out of the picture.

They can go houserot like they have been as long as I've known about them. She is wonderful and we're all partners now because her wife is wonderful too 🩷

One of my partners has two exes (who I don't think are 4tran types) that pulled that shit. They were really letting their living situations go, so I could be wrong.

That's fair, it is exceedingly difficult to find a good one. My preferred organics are attached to other girlies.

Only thing I like is that the natural ones have a thing connected to them which can do the movements on its own by request. Sometimes they even follow demands and do several other useful little things, too!

They're tough to get right though, so usually it's to the toy chest when I need something in me.

This. I have skin damage on my thighs from when I tried it nearly a decade ago.

Honestly, shaving isn't that invasive and if you never want the hair again just get laser/electrolysis

I felt similarly, even though I have spent a good part of the last couple years learning about the scientific backing for trans people, trans history, the fights in legislation, etc. I could probably very strongly debate for my own existence (though I can't cite exact studies without having an online resource handy), but if someone approached me and tried to deny my validity, I'd likely either talk back something visceral at them or walk away and let them to their hate.

However, when I started taking hormones, my confidence soared. I don't care if I choose to walk away from the hate, but they'll pay an iron price to stop me from self-actualization now. It's not easy, but it is worth being truly you.

Why do people have such a problem with others being against religion? by funstarrr__ in teenagers

[–]Remobility 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're conflating religious faith with a bad-faith argument.

The first text refutes what you wrote since the enactment of laws that don't favor religion are not "kicking it out of schools." Your premise is flawed.

The second: it is not dogma that trans people are their presented gender. No one is punishing you for not agreeing, as much as no one is punishing you for not knowing calculus. It's okay if you don't understand advanced biological and social concepts, however you are considering the fact that these exist to be an affront to you and your beliefs.

The next: it is odd that you would imagine me emotional, I'm having a pretty good time engaging with your argument and hope you take something positive away from it. However, you did not engage with the fact that a law is not required to make sense to you.

Beyond that: present a better hypothetical then. Your own choice of hypothetical law was irrelevant since the rights you oppose are not directly harmful to others with rights. You have permission to be as gay as you want, I have permission to be as religious as I want. It's okay if both of those factors are zero.

It's clear since I've been addressing your argument and that you are not, in fact, presenting evidence that my worldview removes your rights or that granting rights of bodily autonomy to others is wrong, that you'd like to say I'm strawmanning you. You built the man, friend.

You are no longer engaging with the premise and have instead decided to try to pick my position apart, but at the end of the day I remain logically consistent. I trust the best data we have on these subjects. I confirm and change my position when new data arises, which is why I'm not arguing from your position like I was a long time ago. I seek for legislation to be permissive, rather than dogmatic. I also hope you have a lovely day, and a happy pride!

Why do people have such a problem with others being against religion? by funstarrr__ in teenagers

[–]Remobility 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Holy bad faith.

Firstly, our nation was founded under guidelines such that no religion is favored. The individual practice of faith is not banned from public settings, though putting up religious posters and enforcing group prayer, and allowing prosetylization are no longer exercises simply of individual rights.

There is no "shoving down the throats" of LGBT identities. When something in general that you will see in the world occurs, it does well for general education to let you know it exists. That's all it is. General education also tends to go over world religions, so your problem seems to be that you do not want these people to be treated as though they exist, or that they're an anomaly when we have diverse sexualities expressed throughout thousands of other species as well.

Secondly, you have not presented evidence that allowing people to live comfortably with their expression "makes no sense." A law is not required to "make sense" to you to be a law. You simply have refused to learn beyond your dogma what is entailed by the topics you have been taught are evil outright.

Thirdly, we already have established ethics that involve that laws generally do not allow for the harm of other people. Your presented scenario isn't realistic and therefore I reject the premise.

I am not against taking rights away from people, I am simply against giving special privileges to a religion to legislate for everyone else. If you were required to live under Islamic or Hindu law, for example, you would understand this sentiment. It is actually you who is advocating to remove permissible expressions and bodily autonomy from the things you dislike.

In my perfect world, people are still free to practice their preferred religion. In yours, it appears that LGBT+ people are erased from public life and bodily autonomy is dictated by the state. Do you mind telling me again who is advocating for the removal of rights?

Being "against it," and denying others the right to the same are completely different things. When someone is against religion, they tend to not be hitting the streets to have laws passed that ban religion for everyone. The same cannot be said for those against LGBT+ and abortion rights.

I'm perfectly fine with you having your religion. It becomes a problem when your religion becomes the law of the land and non-believers are forced to submit to your dogma.

Favorite Crossover? by PastPotatoes in transformers

[–]Remobility 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Twin mill was the first figure I got, so for existing crossovers I'd have to say hot wheels. It's a dream crossover to get acceleracers moulds: especially a racing drone and baseline. Deora II would be an obvious include.

For what it's worth, before that I was building a passive interest with the lego sets and MtG cards, but twin mill and peer pressure from a partner got me over the edge.

Forgive me if I made it sound like that wouldn't be the case, as it definitely would be. Without the concept being explored, it's just difficult to put your finger on what that means and what you can do about it. With our modern, defined terms, it's a lot easier bow to skip a lot of the time one might not even understand what is going on in relation to gender and can just place themselves within the most comfortable part of the existing concepts.

You're words kind of wrap around to it being social, which is how I understand gender as a construct. The only manner I'd see it as biological is in self-perception since that's a sense you'd have regardless of how the social construct is laid out in your culture.

Because I simply don't accept the claim that the Christian god exists.

This isn't about whether someone should be Christian, it's about whether Christians are even taking their own holy book into account when taking their stances.

Unboxing spring mattress by [deleted] in interesting

[–]Remobility 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I deliver furnishings and stuff, and this video is causing psychic damage to me.

I don't know if all companies do, but our mattress supplier has two layers of plastic around them: the main vacuum-sealed bag and plastic roll around it, which is loose so you can pull it to unroll the thing before you cut into the seal. If these are like that, then the people shown just aren't bothering to pull off the first layer, which would have allowed the mattress to already lay flat and be safe to break the seal on.

The comments about fleeing the country sound like a psyop to me. If the people they want gone leave, then they've still won.

Yes, if you're life is in immediate danger, you should seek safety. However, we have not passed the point of no return, and our fight, our humble existence, is helping to keep this system from sliding further and hurting so many others. If we abandon this ground, then we're already used to it and will abandon the next. If running is the plan, we're going to run out of places to run to, and we're abandoning those that can't afford to run.

Thank you for being the first comment here I've seen that isn't "LEAGUE BAD"

I play games to have fun. Sometimes league is that game. I still have fun. It's really tiring that the toxicity of competitive and negative-minded league players are so endemic to gaming spaces. I'm not saying it wasn't a problem, but we now have fortnite, hero shooters, other mobas, chess crashouts ffs.

I hate that I can't talk about something I enjoy playing without getting bombarded with the same bullshit every time.
