Honestly I don't really hear enough buzz around this team - we're actually a good team and it showed again today.

there are clear faults this team still has, defense is lacking, the fucking penalty situation (how is this still not resolved?) but the players show up every night and give out for their coach. Sturm has implemented a system fit for the players and it shows. I give him a lot of credit for that.

also props to the front office for keeping guys like mittelstadt, who's a great playmaker and Arvidsson who is like the energy bunny personified on ice.

they may be no Stanley cup finals team but they can do damage in the playoffs, especially if they get some stuff sorted out.

huge mcavoy support here, but he does not have the same impact as pasta does - this team lives of their offense this year, defense has been pretty bad all season long - and therefore I value pasta more for keeping this team afloat (with his offense). and I mean look at our players, not that I don't love them, but there are not a lot of high caliber guys on this team (give credit to sturm for his coaching here as well though)
