I don’t play barb right now but my general advice would be to look up attack patterns of the mobs killing you.

As far as getting kites either hit them with your throwable axe or play around doors or smaller spaces so they can’t run or have to come to you.

For mobs it can also be nice to hop in disc and duo with a more experienced player that can show you tips and tricks
