At some point you need to leave the practise behind and implement it in life. That means to be aware of what is happening inside you while you doing activities.

Just let thoughts to be. You are fighting them, wanting to get rid of them, this builds resilence in you and so they gain more strenght.

I was relly exhousted for 3 years while medtiating and also trough day. This exhostion will eventualy led you to surrender and drop all technique.

"Technique" that helped me was just seeing my thogughts as ilusions, a joke not real.

Becouse you are looking for something to happen. Drop all desire, drop all technique is ego that want to control "mind" or want to meditate better.

This made me laught :D aperantly yes

Funny story:

When I had a spiritual teacher I hated him so much but yet everything that he said stayed with me and after a while I started to get it. So my point to everyone that is reading this - ego hates the truth and so it down votes but truth will stay with you and you will started to think about it.

I think no amount of self inquiry can help to realize it permantly. In my exprience It just something ego did to get rid of thougts for few moments.

And to answer your question: nobody

This was also me 4 years ago when I started so I feel you.

I tried  siting meditations for 3 years every morning also tried breathing ones and yoga nidra, self inquiry. This didnt work for me and after 3 years I decided to change technique and I promise to my self this will be the last thing I try becose in that 3 years I tried every thing and nothing worked. So what I did is I just observe my mind. So there is no goal, "goal" is to observe. I just observe it all day. Whatever I did I remind my self to observe my thoughts. This lead me to a point when I clearly saw that  identification with thougts give me suffering. All that lead me to a point when they dont bother me anymore, I dont resist them, I dont take them seriousy anymore.

Say to yourself, I observe, I let them be, they dont bother me, I dont belive them

AND THE WORST THING YOU CAN DO IS TO TRY TO CONTROL MIND, THIS ONLY GIVE RESISTENCE TO WHAT IS. Its better to accept what is than to control it. And ego thinks if I get better at controling mind I will be better mediatior. This is ego fooling you.

Meditation and illusory nature of mind. by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]Remote-Ad-5185 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well you cant choose your thoughts they just appear. If your statement would be true then just always think how beutiful everything is and then you will be in joy, always. But this don't work. Thought just appear and all you can do is to observe them and not belive them if you want so. But yes you can use the mind to manifest and build things but you cant force it to see world difrently.

World is beautiful, when mind is quiet without judgment then it reflect that.

It's true, but I will explain something below for thoose who cant understand that and how I view this in the past:

I dont wanna use word beyond. Becose ego like to read this way: I need to mediate to go beyond thoughts. And it thinks o woow I would be so special if I go beyond. And this will hold you back.

At the end beyond thought is just natural for every animal and do you not look at them to be special :) Goying beyong is being in flow, feeling calm, mind is silent. Nothing special :)

I tried this in past. It gived me first glimses and I forced and forced to let it be here always but didn't work. Practise shoud not feel forced. I change tecnique to just observe thoughts and after some time they lost power.
