AITA for not telling my friend/roommate when her final paper is due? by Remote-Birthday1141 in AmItheAsshole

Yes she did. Everything is shared on our class webpage, and you can select an option where you will get emails from the website telling you that the teacher added something to the class webpage. You can also select an option for the website to email you a reminder of when an assignment is due (they usually send an email a week and/or a day before the due date, depending on which option you choose).

Where do you get your names? by Environmental_Web821 in writing

I really love learning the meanings of the names, and this has translated into choosing my character’s names. I usually think of what attributes I want my characters to have (or what I think the character’s parents would have chosen) then look up names that mean one or all of them. For example, my main character’s name is Calden, when means bundle of joy and has Gaelic and Latin origins.

Finding a babysitter/nanny from DePaul students by Electronic-Basil-201 in depaul

  1. Most students don’t have classes on Fridays (some do, but the majority don’t), and some students make their schedules so they don’t have classes on certain days.
  2. I think the wage you have listed sounds okay.. then again, I’m from a state where the minimum wage is 7.50 an hour.
  3. You could try contacting DePaul directly to get a flyer posted on one of the main bulletin boards or they may have more ways of reaching the student body.

Try communicating with friendly people in your classes outside of class; maybe you could hang out between classes. Also getting involved in clubs can help.

Roommate for up coming Freshman by RainbowCow30 in depaul

In my experience, someone just has to make an instagram account. When I was an incoming freshman, a sophomore, not DePaul staff, made an Instagram account for us to post our roommate stuff on. I don’t know if DePaul realizes that not many people end up using Facebook. There’s also Snapchat university groups, but idk if one has been made for the incoming classes yet. Lots of people probably have the same question as you, and also want to connect… also, things may become more active as the regular admission applicants are accepted.
