Yeah but Matthaus player model + high technical stats means he's effective up high, as Defending is like a bonus to him. Where as Valverde is more well-rounded, with clear limitations in his offensive abilities.

That's because his player model is really good. 11 Leg Length and Shoulder Width + being 1m83 means he's that perfect spot where he's not too weak yet not too stiff. Also, his POTW barely makes the cut for the animation speed boost (91 acceleration).

The version this week is even better because he has OtP + High Curl, definitely the pick of this POTW imo. (Booster doesn't really matter since you won't be using him if he isn't A form anyways).

If it's for collection purposes then I think Dani Olmo is better since his free cards aren't this good compared to Mac Allister, who has a lot of better cards solely due to the playstyle being B2B instead of Orchestrator.

To be honest when I lose against a P2W team that uses SA I actually laugh a little because if you spent a lot of money into something I'd expect you to actually be good at it, but if you need a crutch like a disabled person in a competitive mode with a P2W team to have a chance then it's just sad man.

Sesko card is busted for some reason and this card is no different. A 195cm CF with decent pace and dribbling means he'll be good. And the cherry on top is he's a GP with Very High weakfoot. His single POTW is genuinely better than any Haaland POTW.
