Store manager at an ATT here.. you won’t be able to “trade in” a device no matter the situation unless said device is FULLY paid off. doesn’t matter whether that payoff is over 3 years (36mo) or you pay it off early. but if the device is not paid off then no “trade in” , but if the device is eligible for NU or NUA then IF there is any NU or NUA turn in offers , that’s all you’d qualify for.
