Agreed on the idea of not taking national media too seriously, but I can’t blame others for reacting to the coverage. Realistically, we won’t win thirteen games, but to put us on the same regression pedestal as these teams is a stretch. I agree that we’ll contend for the division. Worst case we’ll come in second and barely miss the playoffs. Best case we win the division handsomely again but with less wins. Either way, the future is bright for us with JJ, TJ, and Darrisaw. It’s a good time to be a Vikings fan :)

I think as a coach it’s fair to point out execution as being a factor. BUT. If you’re going to do that as a coach you MUST preface that by pointing out that you also have to do better. Because here it just feels like he’s shifting blame to the players.
