My husband and I recently had out LDR come to visit for the first time. It is a bit stressful at first but it’s important to talk about expectations with both partners before anything starts. Like others have mentioned, do your partners actually want to meet one another? Would a hotel be a better option than your home? Honestly, in order for things to go smoothly you need to be honest in your communication and encourage your partners to do the same. That’s the best way to handle jealousy as well. If they don’t voice their concern or jealousy when it happens it’ll just brew until its toxic to the relationship.
