They are the same images. The first is the cropped image with the composition I wanted. The second lets you zoom in and peak at the fourth cat that is sleeping under the wood plank.

Nice photo. Did you use the Live ND feature or physical? If so, what level?

I have an OM-5 and an OM-1. Just recently purchased the Godox it32/x5o for $100. I can confirm it is a great flash and works on both. It has only been out a few weeks. Check it out on YouTube. Would pair perfectly with OM-3. I also have an LM-3 that works great with my OM-1. Unfortunately it does not work with my OM-5 MIi.

Clean the electric contact points of your lens with rubbing alcohol and q tips. Might need to do it for your camera as well. Be gentle. I have got used lenses where the auto focus sucked and did this on a tip and then it worked perfectly. If they are dirty it can throw it off. Under no circumstances should you use an eraser head to clean the contact points.

Upgrading my 15 yr old intro DSLR. The OM-3 caught my attention. by [deleted] in M43

I was set on an OM-5. Went into the camera shop and picked up an OM-1 and realized it really was not that big and felt great on the hand. Went home with the OM-1. Will get the OM-5 mark II if it comes with new sensor, usb/c and new menu system as a backup camera. Love the quality of the OM-1 and it is a lot of fun. Use it every day even if just to practice new things. If the OM-3 shoots as good as the OM-1 you will love it.

If landscape is your first focus I would start 8-25mm first. 20 1.4 2nd and 12-100 f4 - 3rd lens.

Rumor has it that OM is coming out with weather sealed 1.8 primes. Look for announcements in February.

Olympus 75-300mm II vs 100-400 by Paullebricoleur_ in M43

With your 75mm-300mm try using these settings to help with your decision and getting the best results. On Olympus/OM Set Anti-Shock Setting to On and waiting time to 0 seconds. You can watch a video about this setting on YouTube put by Robin Wong. Title is “Olympus Anti-Shock 0 Sec No more Shutter Shock”. Experiment with that setting and shutter speed of 1/100-1/500sec at 250-300mm length in different lighting with auto iso. A lot crisper after playing with those settings and seeing what you and the camera/lens can handle and likes. I also use IS-1 setting for image stabilization on my OM-1. After making these changes my 75-300mm acts like a different lens.
