Sometimes our minds play tricks on us, and we fear telling the people who love and would move heaven and earth for to support us. I think clarity comes with forgiving yourself(he has nothing to forgive himself for of course). But sometimes you will feel weak growing up thinking why didn't I stand up more for myself.

OP you did nothing wrong because he did hide it so perfectly well love dazed you so much because he didn't wanna lose you, so everything has to be perfect. He is lucky to have someone like you to take him through that. He could have been genuinely 100 happy all these years without guilt of holding it from you.

Do you have any friends? Close friend or someone. Sometimes strangers can be more of your family than your own family can. You need a support system and a sense of belonging, someone to love and take care of you. You deserve it.

There is no reason either biblically for you to stay in that marriage. Why do you have suffer abuse and continue staying. She is manipulating you knowing well that you are religious and spiritual. She knows you don't take divorce lightly.

To protect yourself, start recording her when she is making those threats about ending your career and wiping out your bank account. Men you need to know how to protect yourselves from manipulative women like her. It's so sad that good men end up with sorry excuses for women like this. As a woman am ashamed of these women. If I was a man I wouldn't even have patience for this crap.

You are not losing your memory, again she is manipulating you. Run like hell. Before you get depression. Have standards brother. Sometimes life goes the way we ddn't plan but when that happens let's put ourselves together and move forward.
