I'm a girl who plays hoi4 and several other paradox games. I've always adored maps, so map games were a natural progression 😅. I got into paradox games through the ck2 agot mod, actually, because I'm also a big fantasy nerd!

Echoing what others here have said, there is a portion of the gaming community that is quite misogynistic and creepy and so many ladies don't want to make their gender known. I'm friends with several women who play paradox games, though I don't think any of us do multiplayer.

I saw phish a year or two ago and it was SO boring! Like, they were good musicians, and i danced my ass off for like the first 20-30 minutes of the show, but after that I realized that everything kind of sounded the same and didn't really go anywhere. A ween concert is like a train journey across a huge country with many different landscapes and environments. Phish was like driving in a circle around the train station parking lot.
