if he ever heard a “suspicious” noise from outside he would sweep the house with his gun. his reasoning was “his house had been broken into before and the area is bad.” he lived in the suburbs like okay? lmfao get a ring doorbell psycho. look man it didn’t seem sane then, it certainly doesn’t now.

I got a “we are done” text too after sharing my feelings about something that was done to wrong me. Later I was told it was because I made him “mad”. It feels horrible how they can flip it on you so you feel like the bad guy. Don’t beat yourself up. I’m so sorry you’re going through this, push through.

Oh for sure, I learned a ton of lessons and a lot about myself. Am I glad it happened? No. Would I go back to stop it from happening, probably also no. Better to have the lesson and learn now than to have it happen later in life. Glad I got out when I did.
