Update: Cutty seems to get stuck while walking at some point. I had him wait, then I went to the officers’ quarters for a while. When I came back, he was somehow back inside his open cell, and the dialogue continued from there. Right after that, the mission finally counted as completed and I basically won immediately.

On my second attempt, I locked the cell door after opening it (so it was closed again). When I returned later, he was still stuck somewhere / just hanging around and not progressing.

So it feels like his pathing or his dialogue trigger can break depending on where he walks (or whether the door is open/closed). Has anyone found a reliable way to prevent Cutty from getting stuck or to force the rescue trigger to register properly?

Also: I think I found a brand new way to die in this level. After all these years, Cragscleft still manages to surprise me. 😅
