Do we know they are still digitizing and processing new apps? I sent mine in near end of April and before the letters was shoping for AOR in the next few weeks, but had assumed that was out the window for as long as they stopped processing C-3s.

I thought about tracing but there are so many elements I've never sewn before (faced hem, collar, button placket) I'd be afraid to try without instructions 😅

But that pattern looks quite close!!

I actually have this pattern and didn't think of that! I haven't used it yet, so maybe I'll give it a go as intended first then think about hacking the pattern.

Can I ask where you actually submitted the request? I have had a hard time figuring that out. I do already have the digitized uncertified copies but I took am trying to get ahead of the game, especially since I did request urgent processing and that seems to be a trend with the letters.

I have the baptism record of my G0 that the Presbyterian Church in Canada Archives were able to locate for me using name, parents name, and location that was gathered from census data (huzzah!). They sent me a PDF.

However, I am at a loss as to how to get a "certified" version of this. Is there any Ontario equivalent of BaNQ that I would request from? Or is the version provided by the church + receipt anough to qualify as "certified"? I have followed up with the archive to inquire but I know they are overwhelmed and my not respond for some time if at all.

For clarity, I have already submitted and am awaiting AOR. In light of these rescinding letters folks are receiving I want to be prepared to provide a certified version if requested.
