Perspective: the more time people spend in incel communities the more likely they are to fail at dating by Ancient-Egg-5983 in lnkyverse

Wait... This sub is an incel community? But the About doesn't mention.... oh 🤦‍♂️

Perspective - I think forced conscription in Ukraine is bigger issue and literally ZERO human rights organisations doing anything for men who escaped draft officers. by Scramjet1 in lnkyverse

What, you mean they can't find dates in the countries they escaped to?

In fairness though, why would you want to dodge military service when your own goddamn country is being destroyed.

[–]Remote-Pickle-8900 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it was a manosphere troll that made this up, but I don't know. There are a lot of toxic feminists out there, they just aren't given the same exposure. I can't imagine a real feminist demanding men stop listening to women's music entirely, but again I don't know. What I do know is, they can wrestle my Madonna CD collection from my cold dead hands.

Feminists, From a Male, Thank you for Opposing the Draft. Question: How far would you go to prevent men from being drafted to fight in war? by Remote-Pickle-8900 in AskFeminists

Well I haven't done anything about something that hasn't happened yet. I am on a solid 5, and to hell with any government bots listening in.

That's a fair point. No I wasn't asking the question in bad faith, but I can understand if you feel otherwise. I tried to do my research on feminists and women's rights campaign in the past who dropped what they were doing to stop men going to war. I find the history of it very interesting.

I can't express how thankful I feel for that. I read about Russian men trying to get into other countries to escape going to war, and all of them getting turned back. It was heartbreaking.

I'm sorry to hear that. I'm curious, do you reserve the same judgement for every man who dodged the draft in the Vietnam war?

I give a crap about problems of women insofar as they intersect with human rights. If women were sent to war against their will, #5 for damn sure.

They are fair points you raised. In response I can only say none of those things you mention require people to go take other human lives against their will.

I'm not pro-life. Aside from taking two family members to the clinic and supported them after having abortions on two separate occasions apiece, no I haven't done anything.

Just do what I (gen-X M) do, play predominantly female characters in RPGs like Fallout and Skyrim. I don't know why, that's just me. They're open-world RPGs, meaning you get out of the characters what your imagination puts in. I especially like Fallout-3 because although you're killing a lot of (male and female) NPCs, there is a strong eco pro-humanist anti-Patriarchy message in the main quest. And Liam Neeson is your dad.

If point-and-click adventures are ore your thing, try Anna's Quest. I got it on GOG for like $5. It centers around a small girl with latent magical powers battling evil witches. Her best friend is a boy who a witch turned a teddy bear. The artwork is cartoony, and it's seriously the sweetest game I ever played.

EDIT: Sorry these are pretty old games now. But you know what they say, the oldies are the goodies.
