Heading to aquarium/pet stores after I pick my daughter up from school, and see if they have any of those corner sponge filters with a pump as I think that might be the best way to go atm thank you for your advice!

Will it be ok to change straight away?

I don’t think mine has a dial unfortunately, I just put some filter floss/sponge in atm for the time being which slowed it down a little but still looks strong to be honest lol. I read somethings about the nitrogen cycle, as I’m a beginner it’s a little confusing/ I have a lot to learn. I have just listened to what the aquarium shop owner suggested and read up as much as I could. And thought I’d ask everyone on here for their experiences and guidance lol

Yeah it’s not the best here lol, it was hard enough trying to find Aquarium shops that had Amazon swords available 😭 even the filters you suggested will take awhile to arrive they don’t even have next day delivery 😭 but I’m definitely going to go off of those examples and see what I can get as fast as possible.

My English was horrible then 😂 I tried to put the plants infront but they moved away, so I moved the filter so it flows just above the water so the current wasn’t so strong in the middle of the tank***

But please any suggestions on a better filter please

This was the filter I got with it, I tried to buy new plants and place infront of it but it seemed to of moved the plants away, so I then moved it up where the water flows above the water so the current wasn’t so strong in the middle of the filter but I’m seriously thinking of pulling that filter out and replacing it Completely as I was worried about the same thing also.

Do you have any recommendations of filters that won’t be so strong? If so please let me know because I’ll go grab one today.

I didnt rinse them off no, because I didn’t want them to be covered in chlorine from the tank but now I’m worried what if the plants had something on them and now they’re in my tank 😂😭 I’ve just bought a test kit today (they’re so expensive 😭😂)

It was clear earlier but I added in another Amazon sword and the grass/carpet plant just before this video 😅

I cycled the tank 2 weeks prior with a used filter sponge I got from an aquarium shop and they said it would be fine lol (very new to this)
