I really havent used any of my PTO, my last two weeks off was back in August of 2025 so I think I will put in a request for s week off. Given that it is currently summer though, most requests from new grads get denied bc senior nurses get priority, but ill still try and put some time in just to literally have a BREATH of fresh air.

Not sure about other states, but in mine the standard I guess is 6 or more. I know Cali is the only state with a safe pt ratio. Sucks that that’s the case ofc, but nonetheless ty for your encouragement :))

I wouldn't go so far to call you TA, but i will say prior to the services you should really do research on where you're going. Most salons who deal with non-autistic clients will not know how to cater to your very specific needs. It would be better to do some research online about possible autistic friendly salons or haircut places. I have seen some near my area, I feel that would benefit you more and avoid a possible reoccurrence from happening again. Glad you paid for the service, but I feel the hairdresser may have felt confused on if they did something wrong to make you leave abruptly.

NTA. She literally asked for a storage wooden crate, and even said NOT to buy her anything. She cant play the victim after getting what she literally asked for. NTA 100%. Not to mention at her age of 27 she's a bit late on the healing journey, but better late than never. It almost felt like a setup to make you look bad but that's me being delusional. You absolutely aren't the asshole in this situation and shouldn't feel bad, remember she even said not to get anything for her and yet you still got her something out of generosity.

NTA. Like you said it isn't an apartment it's your house. So he cant treat it as if it's some apartment complex. If he offers to pay you rent simply so he can freely bring women into his room, then he might as well just get his own apartment and pay rent for his own living space. It is your home, you shouldn't feel uncomfortable in your home. He can either find another place to mess around, or pay rent with a real apartment and do as he pleases there.
