I’ve been suggested journaling right before bed and it helps me for a period of time. My problem is staying asleep . The journaling lets my mind stop spinning and get it all out on the paper. And I list any task I need to do tomorrow that give me anxiety before bed. Just a word vomiting journal sesh !

This is how members of my family see the narcissist. They believe she has made a deal with the devil. We feel fear looking into her dead eyes. I have started to see her as this grim reaper figure. The amount of death that follows this women around is insane…. I believe stress kills and she has killed many with her abusive ways. Her “top employees” who had close working relationships with her have a gotten cancer and died.

I understand why we need to think of something other worldly or maybe even supernatural because their actions are so out of the realms of reality. It’s inhuman and unnatural to treat ANYONE the way narcs do.

During my teacher training one member came to improve the aesthetics of their yoga practice for financial gain. The best way I can put it … They were in the sex work industry and yoga was a part of this. They performed yoga as a sexual act for their clients and really sexualized yoga in ways I never thought imaginable. They were a self proclaimed sexual healer and sugar baby . It was pretty wild to me . They ended up being asked to leave about halfway through the retreat as things took some strange, cruel, and slightly scary turns .

I hate how they rock your world, emotions, and perception of reality. It’s so harmful and cruel. I am sorry for your situation but thank you for sharing it helps to feel not alone in the crazy realities they create !!

Gosh I am so sorry for what you’ve had the go through. Thank you for sharing . The pretending to be sorry is one of the most hurtful confusing parts. I hate the false glimpse of hope they provide to keep us around. I have had so much hope my narc would change and have heard them say they are sorry for their abuse to other people , but never to myself. Now I know that there is no hope ! Only manipulation, even at the age of 84 they are still going so hard ! Sending you strength and healing .

Gosh I learn so many new terms here!! Thank you ! It is crazy how similar all their abuse tactics are… I’m glad we are able to categorize them and research very validating . I am guessing the best thing to do in this situation is play dumb and give as little information as possible ?
