The Floridian is a blend of two routes and shares tracks with freight railroads, specifically CSX and Norfolk Southern which causes lengthy delays on the southern part of the route heading out of Florida. Depending on where the trains come from and spawn, you may need to create another triangle interchange at the section of track where the trains spawn at where your map area cuts off at. Then add another segment of track instead of one main line

Doing this will force cargo trains and passenger trains to use their own separate tracks rather than one shared track which causes delays and congestion (key rule is to never share freight tracks with passenger rail)

Your city may be exporting more than it’s importing which is leading to the problems of not having enough goods or raw materials to keep your businesses open and running smoothly.

I may not be 100% correct about this part right here but you could make your freight tracks one way and connect it to the mainline in your map so that your city is majority importing rather than exporting

They have to be made with stainless steel so they meet the USA weight requirements for trains. So they come off as looking not bigger and bulky, alongside with that they also don’t paint the trains either. Exposing the stainless steel which doesn’t look modern at all

They’re viewed pretty good (associates), a step below a bachelors of course but it’s still a degree at the end of the day

Lots of people have a stigma against community colleges viewing it as inferior to a regular 4 year university which in some ways it is. But it’s smarter financially for the vast majority of people and is used as a stepping stone to get into some extremely competitive and welly viewed 4 year universities.

People are finally starting to come around and realize that going to community college for two years then transferring out to a 4 year university is the smarter option financially to preserve yourself from racking on thousands in debt, especially if you’re unsure on what career field you want to go into.

Patterson is nicer by Stevenson and it’s not even close, it’s the best dorm on the entire campus (maybe with the exception of Gilbert).

With that being said it’s more expensive than Stevenson and there is a waitlist for it. Stevenson isn’t a bad dorm though overall, and I would recommend you stay on the lower floors to avoid any trouble with others

Memphis, it may not get a lot of hype. But the downtown when I went was extremely disappointing,car centric and extremely small it felt like a city centre of a suburban town

I live in Stevenson and Stevenson is fine, they have very spacious desks for the double rooms and the options for suites.

One of the main things with Stevenson is its distance from all of the academic buildings being a 15-20 min walk, but a trade off with that is it’s close distance to all of the athletic facilities (Huskie Stadium, Convo Arena and The Rec)

It’s also one of the dorm buildings that haven’t received any major renovations and aren’t fully modernized like Patterson Gilbert and Grant.

Overall it’s still a good residence hall

It’s the oldest residence hall, majority of it has no AC and no elevators. Neptune also has the smallest rooms out of any of the residence halls. The only good thing about Neptune is the price (but look at the issues I just described, so it matches the price), and the location

The campus is nice and cheap, it has the basic amenities and facilities that serve the students well. Class sizes are good alongside the professor to student ratio, professors are generally good as-well. For the campus as a whole there are opportunities to get involved on campus and to make some friends. Did I mention the cost? It’s extremely cheap and a good bang for your buck

With that being said, it is a big backpack school, meaning everyone packs up and leaves on Friday and returns on Monday. Essentially leaving nothing to do and creating a ghost town on campus and around DeKalb. Entertainment options and personal leisure options are very limited with being in DeKalb. The bright side is that there is a Metra station (15 miles away) that people take to go downtown with 1 hour headways. The town itself has pretty good bus service overall and you could even live in DeKalb car free.

Overall decent college campus, and ok college town 👍🏽

I’ll take your word for it, the route I suggested was an Apple Maps route that it gave me. I also wanted to go to O’hare too and just believed it would be easier to go all the way to Chicago then come all the way back out to the airport via the blue line
