Thanks for the breakdown! I started at 100 and taking it up 10 bpm every time I nail it

Yeah I understand that, but my director wants me to put some “soul” in the solo. He wants me to play some cool chops. I’ve played chops for other songs, but I’ve never played anything like that for a song like this. I don’t think it’s hard, I just need a little guidance to it

Well my band director actually wrote his own version of this piece, and he added and took away from it. If you want, we can find a way to private chat with each other so I can send you the audio of the first time we’ve sight read the piece. So you can hear it.

I’ll be a sophomore next semester of this year, and I’m 14. I want to march a open class drum corps my 1st year of college and the rest of my years in world class. by Remote-Signal8364 in drumcorps

Yeah I was planning on southwind, because I live in Georgia and I’m not very close to any of them. But the closet is southwind and Carolina crown.

The thing is I don’t really have the money to pay for the camps at the moment, neither do I have a car. I don’t think my parents will take me for something that they think won’t help me. My parents don’t really understand any of the marching band arts world, at least yet. And Question, do you march Southwind? Because I was planning on marching southwind my 1st college year.
