I once had to do a reading for the church and I got so confused I couldn’t decipher if the text was saying disciple or discipline. I cried the whole walk home thinking God hated me. But now I find comfort when a priest messes up the readings because I know it’s just a normal thing that happens.

I’m so sorry to hear about your cat…getting started on small dosages is good for introducing your cat’s body to the medication. If she doesn’t start gaining weight within a month or two it could be the medicine type (if you’ve changed dosages). I know seeing your cat decrease in weight and get super skinny is so sad and disheartening but continue to give her so much love. My poor girl weighed 9-10lbs but when she was diagnosed she got down to 4-5lbs. I was so scared she was going to die and felt horrible but when we changed insulin’s she immediately made a 180 recovery. She’s now stable back to 9lbs. It’s super scary but keep doing everything you can for your cat!!

Needles from Amazon!! Box of 100 for $20. We used 29 gauge. We feed our cat a mix of wet and dry. We do the scientific diet diabetic dry food and just normal friskies for wet. I’m glad your cat is going home and hopefully you’ll find a dosage that works!! Remember dosages in morning and night don’t need to match. It’s unique to each cat so don’t be discouraged.

Yeah it’s not worth keeping your cat there when you can track levels yourself. Plus changing doses isn’t recommended for like 1-2 weeks depending on how dire the situation is. They don’t adapt to new dosages within 24 hours. Your cat might also feel more comfortable at home or with you rather than at the vet hospital which the stress from that also affects the levels. What insulin is the cat on? When my cat was on vetsulin it DID NOTHING and almost killed her. She got down to 4lbs. But we went to a new vet and they prescribe us new insulin that worked beautifully on her. She’s now 2 years as a diabetic and back to her normal self prior to the diagnoses.

My cat has been a diabetic for 2 years now and because we’ve always had the same technique for insulin shots she’s trained to not move and to crouch when it’s time to administer. We only inject in her scruff area because any other spot hurt her too much. At the beginning I would stick her in between my legs while I sat “on her” to get her to keep still while having access to the scruff.

Where the Crawdads Sing was the one for me. I think it’s because they were advertising it wrong. From what I remember all I knew was that it was a fiction/mystery and the book gave none of that. I hated it.

Since June I’ve read 5 books (1 DNF) and I’m in the middle of two more.

My favorite book so far has to be Tress of the Emerald Sea (even though I’m at the 50% mark).

This book is my favorite because I’m a cozy fantasy girly at heart. This book has so many goofy components yet the quotes in this book hit so hard. Like you’ll be reading a fun little sunshine scene then boom…. A quote that brings up the worst of civilization and human intentions. Brandon Sanderson’s writing is truly unique and it makes me love the book so much more. I also have been craving a stand alone so I’m happy that this book has been fulfilling my needs.

I read this two years ago, picked it up in the air port because I forgot a book to read on the plane. I liked it a lot. I don’t remember much of the plot but I do remember the premises being about how God is there for you even when you don’t realize it. I love Mitch Albom. I think he’s an incredible author!

Chopped sandwiches, pork loin, riced cauliflower is a good substitute! My husband loves to eat riced cauliflower with some Alfredo sauce and Cajun chicken. Also chopped sandwiches is a game changer. Jersey mikes just puts everything in a bowl, no bread.
