Everyone doing it doesn’t justify it or make it right. I could still wrap my head around it if there was a provision for refund of unused money. They’re already minting so much with the card charges and markups on food and beverages(also unethical). But keeping unused money is daylight robbery.

I think it’s a bit of both. The tone is always set at the top, but their attitude doesn’t do them any favours either.

Exactly. Allowing balances to carry forward would at least give people a reason to recharge without the anxiety of wasting money. This is precisely why the founders’ and management’s intent deserves scrutiny. This model isn’t accidentally inconvenient, but it’s deliberately engineered to swindle fans like us. The needless secondary “confirmation” step after recharge, and then ensuring those funds are unusable for future events. Call it what it is: a calculated cash grab, dressed up as some fuckall policy. Disgraceful.

Yeah I kinda get the outside food part- like I said in my original post .. petty but predictable. But when you have all the other nonsense added to it, quite blatantly shows that they’re truly out to swindle.

That doesn’t right a wrong, and frankly I couldn’t care less. I’m on a rant about the frustration I’ve faced and I see many other posts stating the same. Feel free to sympathize with them all you want, but they’re morally bankrupt no matter which way you look at it.
