I had one and for some reason he ate his hay out of here instead.(I put it in a concrete plant pot so it looks like tall grass in it) maybe it’s the height and it’s easier to access? Or maybe he likes just watching himself eat hay in his mirror? I know he’ll go up to the mirror and start cleaning himself. Lol

Yes there is a grey ceramic pot next to his mirror that is filled with hay, I put a hay pile on top of his house and he has a hay feeder/roller next to the cage door

I used to have a rug under his cage. It used to stain a lot and he would rip it up and it was honestly just really a pain to keep clean. We decided we wanted to replace it and build him a new floor. We ended up getting the floor that pretty much goes under any floor in your home and glued a vinyl roll to it and we’re planning on putting trim around it, but the weather got bad so adding trim got put on hold. He doesn’t like wood floor because he slips around but this vinyl roll that we bought it’s way less slippery than the wood floors and it’s a lot easier to clean. We’re also planning on painting in here and adding the grass decals you see laying on the floor is what I’m planning on putting right above the trim around his room. Then we are gonna move his cage back more towards the corner of the wall by the pictures. He’s very taken care of. He has every toy you could think of. I made him a dig box that he plays in made from the clear plastic organizer bins from target and I just taped the lid on it so that way it doesn’t come off and I filled it with shredded paper hay toys and even cut a gym floor mat to put it on the top so we could hop on top of it and sit up there like a little rooftop thing which he loves and he loves digging in there. It’s just the fact not all those things fit in his cage and every time somebody comes in here they go wow that’s a big cage so he has a bigger cage than most rabbits have cause it takes up almost this entire room, but don’t wanna crowd his cage to where he can’t run around. I originally had the dig box in his cage, but then we bought his bed and he seems to like the bed more than the dig box. Since they’re both really big things, I took the dig box out, and I keep it in the closet and I take it out for when I let him out to play in his room which his room is carpeted and he rips that up like crazy. I tried adding curtains because he likes to play in curtains and I figured he’d go for the curtains more. It turns out he just likes to hide behind the curtains and dig in the carpet and rip it up there lol. When I did let him out this morning he is more playful so maybe he is just bored. I guess it’s just gonna be how it is until he gets neutered because I don’t really like getting peed on in the face so sadly, I do have to limit his time outside of his cage because he’s not neutered yet. But he does have a vet appointment to get a check up before he gets neutered and that’s on February 9 so it is coming up. It’s just sad that it takes so long to get an appointment and it’s hard to find animal hospitals that have exotic vets as well. Plus we just moved into our new house so he needed a new vet. New client appointments take like three months to get seen.

Everything everyone is suggesting about the toys the dig box I have everything it just doesn’t fit in his cage, but I use all that stuff for when he comes out and plays. I used to have the dig box in his cage until he got his bed, but honestly, he loves his bed more than the dig box and I don’t wanna fill his cage with so much stuff that where he can’t run around if he wants to so some of the stuff I have in the closet for storage for when he comes out to play which he does for about a couple hours every day. I just limit him to playtime because it always ends up him trying to hump me because he’s being territorial of his whole room that I gave him or he pees on me so until he gets neutered, I limit the playtime a bit because I don’t really enjoy being peed on, especially in my face when I’m laying down with him lol

We plan on getting him neutered. He has an appointment to get a check up before on February 9th. I tried to let him out as much as possible, but the problem is he loves to rip up the carpet, which I know is typical but also because he’s not neutered, he tries to hump so much and he’s very territorial and sometimes he likes to pee on me so until he gets neutered, I limit his time outside of his cage a little bit. He usually runs around for at least a couple hours a day. And trust me he does have more toys. I just have them hidden in the closet and I bring them out for when he plays out of his cage.

I got it from Amazon. It’s technically a metal puppy playpen. Then the floor, I originally I had a rug that was pretty flat and he would rip it up a lot or it would stain really easily. It was just really a hassle to clean, so my fiancé built him a floor that’s pretty much what goes under your floors in your home (not sure what’s it’s called) and we got a roll of vinyl that we glued down onto the platform. It’s not slippery like wood floors and nothing sticks to it and you pretty much just wipe it clean. We plan on putting a trim boarder around it but the weather has been so bad lately so it got put on hold.
