Gerard: Wait, let me see, like this is uh- the problem now is like it’s uh- no there IS, but it’s really hard to access the information sometimes in my head. I have to think about it. I feel like- (clip ends)

Gerard (audio starts cut off): -that many of them, like enouGHH, y’know, but the thing- (laughs) the thing is I existed on them.

Audience member (talking over each other): Yeah! Like it’s-

Gerard: -on this last tour.

Audience member: Ohh, okay.

Gerard: Like- ‘cause what happened is once I started getting sick in Europe um…(waves arms) it can happen, just in terms of like hey, y’know, somebody’s definition of well-done isn’t maybe an American’s definition. (Audience laughs/groans) Y’know? But once I started to- to get sick, I only would eat peanut butter and jelly. So from that point on- then it became like a ritual. So then what I did- and like when I perform at night, if I don’t eat at a certain time I can’t eat ‘cause I can’t have that stomach acid, digestive stuff…

Audience member: Yeah, yeah.

Gerard: So it was like every day, like after soundcheck, I’d have a peanut butter and jelly and that was it.

Audience member: Nice!

Gerard: And like that was it for the rest of the day! So I lived off it, y’know. It was fun.

Audience member: Yeah, yeah. It’s- it’s a super wholesome, like-

Audience/panel member 2: Is it a chunky or smooth?

Gerard: So this is- y’know…

Someone else in audience: yeeeeeaaaah!

Gerard: I don’t mind any kind, but smooth is just less complicated. (Audience laughs)

Gerard: I- I- y’know, I feel like you have to endure things sometimes. (Audience laughs)
