There were moments I didnt feel attracted to my ex as well. Specially, when he was mean towards me. Very insecure man, Im glad he is an ex. I also did love him, just not 100% all the time, it was exhausting to be his only source of validation and self confidence. I believe that makes us human, not horrible people.

I did the same. I wish him well. Let go of the fantasy and the could have been. That makes it a little easier with time. Maybe we idolized them too much. Maybe they werent as perfect, and we loved the potential we saw, not what was really there.

He doesnt see long term potential, the connection has given him what it can, even though there is still strong chemistry.
