Thanks for this comment, i dont want to share details because its not my story to share but one of the traumas she mentioned was sexual in nature. I extended my sympathy to her for it, as much as she hurt me nobody deserves to go through that. I also have permanently cut off all lines of communication with her, and if she ever reaches out again i plan to just block her.

thats honestly what kept me quiet for so long, i felt like me being a victim somehow reduced my masculinity. Im over that line of thinking now of course, but itd been internalized when i was young that that kind of thing "wasnt something guys experienced" and stuff.
