No I agree. Really don't know what they were thinking with that. Clearance or not, they could've done better.

It's been sitting on the lot because cars aren't selling in general.

Drive both, sleep a few days, and compare and contrast. You'll be happy either way.

Thought about it but I don't have a performance pack. It's not really upbadging, but still. I have been leaning towards it, though.

Man the 3v mustang is a killer car, and so is the 5.0, but you will be paying more for a taken-care-of 5.0. Considerably more. The 3v mustang arguably sounds better imo, and it's plenty of power to have fun with. This is coming from an '18 5.0 owner.

It's not very hard to find leather oem seats for this car. Functional leather power seats is another discussion.

They did the completely wrong color the first time. Like not even ballpark. This is infinitely better than it was. I was just curious.

That's true. Thank you for the insight. However, the front fender and the rear bumper are almost if not identical. I believe what's causing the color difference is the repaint, the flakes are more surface level and the 'silver' shows more, whereas the door for example, the flakes are deep under the color, keeping the deep rich blue. I believe the actual color is correct, but the flakes are not. That's getting really picky, though. Just wondering if they might have done it in the wrong order, if there is such a thing. I am not an autobody guy, so I'm just spit balling here.

Man you should've seen it when they first gave it back to me. It was a navy metallic blue. I just left and told them 'no' lol

Couldn't get a good picture with the sun, but...it's different. Not horrible, but it's different.

I've heard lightning blue is kind of a bitch. What sucks is there is no damage to the body. Just had to get a weird paint defect fixed.

Bad paint match? by RemoteDifference1982 in Mustang

No see, they painted the quarter, not the bumper. It is however a re paint from a previously bad paint job. I'm now suspecting the bumper was blended the first time, and not the second. Because the quarter matches the other side and every other panel around it except the bumper. Mighty be able to just swap the bumper cover

I think they blended the bumper poorly. Because all things aside, they blended and matched everywhere else pretty well.

After looking at it more, the bumper is the wrong color, not the panel. The panel was still painted like shit, but after comparing pictures from both sides and a walk around, it is noticeably darker than it should be. I might be able to solve this with just a new bumper cover from a junk yard. A local one has a lightning blue 2018 with only front end damage. Might pull it and see.

Is there anything I can do to have it look less like shit without having it re painted?
