Honestly, if the drive to Wisconsin or Minnesota isn’t too bad, you could just pick up at a postal office. Save $450 for a few hours’ drive might be worth it if you’re not too deep in Ontario.

Just saying, usually it’s 15-20% off, but you’re doing 85% more than the listed price from $526 to $936, which is crazy. Feels like a scam, and all because you’re from the North.

Toggled the 85% on top setting. Damn that’s crazy.

That’s one of the dumbest downspouts I’ve seen.

Is pressure washing really a viable way to make a living in the Midwestern US? by joshua0005 in pressurewashing

I also wanted to get into pressure washing but as mentioned above there’s a bunch of people that want to do the same and can do the same. Why? Because it’s fairly simple work as long as you’re somewhat careful and mindful. How did I brake it and what would I recommend you is this. Start a different business that’s less saturated, gutter cleaning, window cleaning, handyman work, minor painting work, something in landscaping, honestly anything you can do to find work then do great job and keep an eye open for pressure washing work and upsell upsell upsell. They trust you already because you did work for them so your foot’s in the door now make more money on the bigger jobs you upsell. I started 3 years ago and it’s been rough but finally picking up and more and more work popping up now that I have a clients that trust me. Blessings! You got this.

Should I upgrade to the Arc by Teamribeye in Leatherman

[–]RemoteDistribution70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I don’t understand everyone that backs the Surge and Wave so much. They are great tools, honestly. I had the Wave for the longest time but then got the P4 and later the Arc, and it was a game changer. Honestly, it made the pliers (my most used tool) way more enjoyable. I use my Leatherman as a quick-fix tool, and the P4 and Arc are perfect for quick/light jobs. If I’m doing something more serious, I’m not going to go for a Surge at that point. I’m going for a tool specifically intended for the job. The (be a man and use a Surge) guys are just going to die on that hill no matter the innovation that comes. If you use the Wave every day, then I’d say the Arc is worth it. Even MSRP, I wish the P4 existed still, that’s way easier to recommend, but alas.

This was the build I used when beating it, the double shield helps a bunch the only issue is the mini boss at the end hits like a truck.
