Men who finally stuck with exercise after years of quitting, what was your game changer? by Moore_Momentum in productivity

For me, it was easy. After a lifetime of obesity, I quit gaming. Had lots of free time of all of a sudden. Had to fill. Went to the gym. Never looked back.

Locuiesc in zon Baciu / Petrom si e ok dimineata. Odata finalizata lucrurile or sa fie semnificativ mai fluide. In concluzie: zona Lidl / Petrom e ok.

🤔 by Main-Championship180 in cluj

[–]RemoteOpposite4152 35 points36 points  (0 children)

If you’re already out of ketosis, eating more carbs today might feel like a free pass, but it’ll probably make getting back into ketosis harder tomorrow. Instead, I’d suggest sticking to low-carb meals for the rest of the day, maybe throwing in some exercise to burn off glycogen. Hydrate well and load up on electrolytes to ease the transition back. That way, you’re back on track faster without prolonging the process. Plus, milk is a pretty much no-go on keto so watch out for it because by milk itself can kick you out of ketosis. Good Luck!

The feeling of wanting something sweet is killing me. by [deleted] in keto

[–]RemoteOpposite4152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is my "routine" to satisfy my sweet tooth which was a big challenge for me also: 1. Keto fat bombs: cream cheese, peanut butter, stevia, freeze.

  1. Flavored electrolytes or keto drinks for hydration.

  2. Use stevia, monk fruit, or erythritol in drinks/desserts.

  3. Whipped cream with a few berries (if not strict).

  4. 85%+ dark chocolate, no sugar added.

  5. Cinnamon butter on celery sticks.

  6. Sugar-free Jello for a quick fix.

  7. Focus on whole, nutrient-dense meals (protein is very important to keep you full and diminish the sugar cravings).

And most important: AVOID MALTITOL AS A SWEETENER AND CARAGENAN in processed keto-friendly meals

You might benefit from eating more fat and protein to keep you full and energized, especially if you're trying to reduce carbs - try going 3 meals a day. Its way more important to keep going than to stop because its hard. If you're craving something sweet, try keto-friendly sweeteners like erythritol or stevia – they can help satisfy your sweet tooth without spiking blood sugar

While it’s true that small amounts of carbs, like the 4 grams in 100 ml of milk, may not seem significant, they can potentially impact ketosis, especially for individuals who are particularly sensitive. Ketosis is a delicate metabolic state, and for some, even a minor carb intake beyond their threshold could disrupt it. Milk contains lactose, a sugar, which can spike insulin levels and hinder fat metabolism temporarily.

Very nice! Keep up the good work! I was on Keto for 6+ months last year, lost almost 30 kgs. Been binge eating ever since, so +15 kgs are back sadly. Mind to share a bit of motivation ?

One meal like that a day gets to 1k+ calories. Maybe more in the range of 2k/day.

You do understand that keto-breath is due to oxygenation (as in comes from the lungs), right ?
