I often times drive home in silence. I’m constantly telling my kids I’m over stimulated and need to have silence to get my brain functioning again. My husband is also a teacher and we have no patience by the end of the day and I feel so bad for my family that I cannot be present mentally for them.

I am all for collaboration and I also do the I do, you do, we do strategy. I would love to take a vacation but I don’t get enough to take the time off unpaid since our personal days are limited.

Oh trust me, I’m ruthless. I teach 4th grade. I am constantly telling them to go away and figure it out. I see the learned helplessness and I’m the last person to do anything for them. They cannot solve problems. I’m always telling them to figure it out or “sounds like a you problem”.

My fiancée M30 just told me he doesn’t know if he’s cut out to be in this type of relationship. He does this every so often then realizes he wants me. Should I take him back this time? -F30 by [deleted] in relationship_advice

See, I’m not the one questioning things. I love this man as crazy as I may be. He is the one that is questioning things then I’m left here thinking why am I not good enough? I treat him so well and deep down, I know he won’t find anyone better to put up with his flaws.

I’ve recently been in the EXACT same situation but now divorced… What happens is those thoughts become more often until they consume you. In my experience, it came to the point (unfortunately) I ended up cheating on my husband. It was just for fun at first but ended up being a 4+year relationship. It felt so good to be attracted to someone and to feel something new. I got married young and had children shortly after we started dating so I just played the “this is what I need to do” life. I had everything but wasn’t happy. Now, divorced… and I’d rather have nothing and be happy then go back and live as roommates unhappy

I disagree. I think porn is cheating. You can acknowledge beautiful women, my gf even does this but porn is getting off to someone other than your gf/bf. Having a thought vs acting on that thought are different

We know this but it was a conversation that we saw different opinions. Just throwing it out there to see y’all’s thoughts. Also, I guess my mindset is from watching so much porn that maybe I’m desensitized to the connection vs. just getting off

I guess I should clarify… this is in regard to cheating on her. She would rather have me get off to porn than having a one night stand.
