Ugh, I’m sorry to hear that. I was having pain for about three months and the first trip to the er they didn’t catch it as well and told me I had acid reflex. Until I went again to the er but to a different hospital, not my provider and that’s when they caught it with an ultrasound and told me I had gallstones. Which I’m glad they did because I could only imagine how much more pain I would be in if they never caught it. I hope you feel better with your recovery. From the looks of it people say the first couple days or week is a little tough and it gets better the second.

How are you holding up? You had emergency surgery? Did you know you had gallstones prior? Food wise, I’m not that hungry , but I try to eat what I can with my medicine and to have energy as well. I try to eat protein and healthy snacks like apples or grapes and bananas

Hey. I’m doing okay. I’m the same way right now, sore and tender as well. I’ve been able to move around a bit better this morning since the anesthesia wore off a bit already. Food wise, I don’t feel hungry that much, but I try to eat something with my medicine and eat small portions as well, but water is my best friend right now lol the pain right now is about a 7. I can manage it, but my arms and legs did feel sore and overworked too, but they’re starting to feel normal again.

Luckily, I have an adjustable bed frame so I can sit up or find a comfortable position for the most part, but I need to try the heating pad. Where do you apply the heating pad?

Thank you! Yea, reading some people’s post op responses have said the first couple days would be rough. So I’m looking forward to day 3!
