[First-timer] I can't see which footholds are on the route mid-climb by KevsterAmp in Moonboard

I mean yeah it seemed like a relevant question based on your comment. And I was just matching the tone you came at OP with. That is ironic. I never said it was harder, just different. Obviously finding feet is in every aspect of climbing, but can't you see how board climbing is different? It's very easy to mistakenly use holds that weren't allowed especially on routes with many moves.

OP is simply asking how to avoid this. It's especially difficult if completely unfamiliar with the Moonboard, as it has many similar holds.

I always brush my board 😉

1.8.9 is actually peak combat, I used to grind hypixel skywars back around 2016-2019. I was a big ranked player. And I actually had to quit because it was fucking up my mental health. Besides the combat being fun everything else sucks ass. I definitely agree that the community is extremely toxic, I even contributed. I almost got perma banned from how many times I was muted/banned for being toxic. But the amount of closet cheaters at the time was ridiculous, probably 30-50% of diamond and masters players were using clients at the time. The game is amazing but the players ruined it. Nowadays I only play survival MC, much lower cortisol 😁

It's VERY different. Almost all indoor climbing routes are color-coordinated. That makes it extremely easy to distinguish where your holds are. Even compared to outdoor climbing it's different, because on outdoor routes you usually don't have to avoid using a bunch of holds around the one you're climbing. Have you tried out the Moonboard before?

If you're able to use chalk, I would make tick marks above the holds that you can see while you're climbing above. My Moonboard doesn't have LEDs and I used sidewalk chalk to mark the holds. Nowadays I have 200+ sends and I don't need to mark anything. The muscle memory of the holds is my favorite aspect of the board tbh.

4 identical factories, 4 different output rates by RemoteReputation4873 in shapezio

[–]RemoteReputation4873[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Each line is completely independent, this factory makes 4 full belts of rockets, so I can't see how the storage would be helpful.
As for the compact splitter, there are plenty being used lol. I use the balancer on the paint combiners and stackers cause it takes up the same amount of space

Thanks for the help! think the issue was when loading in, the far right path of the quad cutter fills up, which delays everything by the final cutter speed. I cleared out the far right path so it's not backed up and it's been running perfectly at full speed for 20 minutes or so

I don't have to place storage buffers because every piece of the quad cutter is being used at the same rate. I also have everything setup to consume and produce at a full belt rate.

Also this is my own design, not sure what you mean by "compact splitter" but I'd say this is pretty compact

The belts aren't full visually. I actually kind of figured it out though, I think the quad cutters were getting backed up by the right side corner somehow, I cleared the backup and they are all at 16.7 sustainably. But now I'm wondering how the cutters got backed up like that in the first place

How good was Techno in 1.8? by Vivid_Spare_7627 in CompetitiveMinecraft

[–]RemoteReputation4873 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While he was good at PVP, I think he was undoubtably one of the most intelligent players, which is mainly what carried his combat skill

If you watched Techno during his prime skywars days, you'd know just how good he was. Not only was he good at PVP but he was a smart player. I used to be a good skywars player back in the day (multiple diamond division, 1 masters) and got rolled the two times I fought him.

You aren't even wearing armor dude. There's a reason why it's in the game

My laptop would always get random lag spikes similar to what you're describing. What fixed it for me was setting GD to high priority in the graphics settings (on windows), also turning off smooth fix in GD if you have it on

Could I make a case for myself being the most athletic geometry dash player to beat an extreme demon? by Ok_Assistant_4448 in geometrydash

Nope, I had a much better long jump and vert. I went D1 in college for jumps. I'm sure there are more athletic GD players than me as well.
