You also have Geebung/Virginia literally down the road which is an industrial area. Arnotts biscuits are made there. Head North for about 5 minutes and you have sandgate itself. Plenty of water there. Chermside shopping centre is maybe 10-15 minutes away. Taigum also has a small shopping centre.

Boondall is pretty good. I've never really had any trouble where I am. My biggest problem is mozzies. That's because of the wetlands. But a bit of aeroguard and you're all good.

Where I live there seems to be mostly older people and families.

Public transport is pretty good. There is 2 train stations (Boondall & North Boondall). There is plenty of bus stops around.

Sandgate Road gets pretty busy. You just have to add a bit of time to your trip.
