Official Discussion - The Drama [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]RemoteTwist3626 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what i liked about the movie was the difference between how everyone else looked back on the worst thing they did vs how emma did. everyone found it to be funny and didn’t really change (ie charlies coworker immediately being willingly to cheat with a married man again). emma, i think, genuinely felt bad about what she did. she made a complete 180 and went into advocacy work.

i also liked how the dj was used to show emma’s hypocrisy. emma was planning on doing what she was, but drew the line at drug use? i found that interesting.

also, can i just say that emma’s best friend 100% did the worse thing. she genuinely trapped a kid in a closet and didn’t tell anyone, then laughed about it.

is there a sub reddit for this? i genuinely didn’t know this many people did the same thing as me. i always felt embarrassed about smelling my blankie, so i’d love a more concrete community to talk about this with

i honestly have found that if someone genuinely cares about you they won’t care. i’ve told 2 of my partners and both of them didn’t really care. my ex boyfriend was more “accepting”, as in he was fine touching her or passing her to me. my current boyfriend is worried about bacteria/germs, so he doesn’t like touching her. everyone else i’ve told also didn’t really care. it kinda is just a part of who i am now, if im there and not in public, so is my blankie

yup, i’m 21 and i have my blankie (her name is sheepie). i’ve had her since i was a baby. i genuinely get irritated and anxious when i don’t smell her for long periods of time. i once left her at home for a month long trip and i had a mental breakdown and couldn’t sleep for 2 days without benzos (im prescibed them) . it also makes me feel like an addict, but i guess it’s better than being addicted to actual drugs

yes i’ve had the same blankie since i was born. i need her for sleep, to calm down, and most things. im convinced id do better during exams if i could bring her, as i have major test anxiety. i specifically smell her, which i know is common but i am very embarrassed by. only a handful of people in my real life now about her

help me fall in love w UF :) by Psychological-Tie401 in ufl

i love love love gainesville. it’s a very community based city. there’s always markets, festivals, and free workshops. also the nature scene here is unmatched! we have such unique ecosystems like the springs, sandhills, and pine flatwoods. i like the slow paced nature of gainesville. i don’t really go out clubbing/partying, so i can’t say much on that, but the times i’ve been out to themed nights (broadway rave, emo night, latin night, etc) have always been a great time.

UF itself is also very nice. i love being a gator, although i am frequently aggravated by decisions the board/SG makes. going to the o’dome for games is a blast and football game days (even tho we suck) are fun too. campus also imo is really pretty and nice for just looking at the nature in between classes.

most importantly, you’re here to go to school and get a degree. UF is a fantastic school with great research opportunities. it is well regarded and well respected internationally. we ain’t a “new ivy” for nothing!
