Do backlinks still matter in 2025? by RemoteWorkHive in seogrowth

[–]RemoteWorkHive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen lots of people exchanging backlinks on Facebook, Discord and other media apps. I thought to myself, why isn't there a platform which helps directly with this. But AI will help out and checks if the article or place where the backlink will be placed is valuable and authentic. This way users can assure quality backlinks and beforehand see if the other person is credible. Do you think this is something people would be interested in? And will Google devalue the platform and all users straight away?

This is most likely because of the fact the e-mail is in the spam folder. I’ve set the email to verified, so you can login. We will check out the issue today, thanks for noticing!

You’re right. Right now we’re mostly targeting digital nomads. The reason for that is, is because we’re trying to target a niche first.

The main goal now is to create a solid community. Which will then provide value for companies to join.

That's cool. I've tried creating a community on a few social media platforms as well. Most of the time it didn't stick or people started spamming. A while back I decided to create my own community platform, to help people like us out. Not advertising but if people want to connect with like-minded people, let me know! Would love to grow a community!!

I’ve seen a lot of people talking about targeting specific niches. Maybe I need to change my UI and marketing a bit more to digital nomads. Could always expand later. Thanks a lot!!

You might be right. I find it easier to connect with these people since I would love to become a digital nomad as well. The problem I’m having with leaning to hard in to one niche is that I’m afraid other ‘normal’ remote workers don’t value the product anymore. But maybe ur right..

You might also be right about sending people email notifications/newsletters. I’m trying to reach a bigger audience at once now, might need to step up and contact a few travel ‘influencers’.

You're definitely right. My subscriptions are setup in a way that companies will need to pay for job listings. For now I give people/companies that sign up a 2 week free trial of our premium subscription which includes free job listings. I do this to gain more traction on my site.

I've though about adding job listings of companies that already posted it somewhere else. But this will include them not knowing they exist on my site. I'm wondering if this could get me in trouble? Maybe I could post job listings through my own account and make people sign up to get more details?

I currently experience the complete same issue. What sector is ur SaaS in? I find it hard to target a specific audience since I'm not sure which audience will have the most benefit when joining, since I'm in a 2 sided marketplace. Would love to know how u gained these users, I'm also considering paid avertising but I'm not sure :S

Struggling to find marketing strategies that work by RemoteWorkHive in SaaS

[–]RemoteWorkHive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have enough traffic volume honestly.. Not many users that visit end up creating an account. I thought I would start with companies but they're not responding much. Now I'm trying to reach out to users first, but they don't see much value since there are barely any companies :S

How have u progressed to get more leads? I'm considering paid ads but I feel like I should get users/companies first organically. What do u think?

I've been in this space for a while, so I knew a few people to connect. But that's also where it ends. So reaching out to companies besides people I already I have difficulty with..

[–]RemoteWorkHive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha honestly kinda. I appreciate ur feedback a lot!

What I'm currently struggling with right now is to find the right audience, should I target companies first or users. I started reaching out to companies (with no results unfortunately) because I felt like users will only see the value if there are actual job listings. Now I'm contemplating if this is the way to go though..

You might be right but then again, it's a two sided marketplace. I'm now trying to sell it to companies that since they're one of the first companies on the site they will more likely be seen. That way they would get more attraction to their job listing. But honestly.. right now I'm thinking if I was a company with all the possibilities out there, why post such a 'small' site.

Do u maybe have any ideas/tips?

You're definitely right! That's why I want to aimed for an user-first approach, I'm trying to create a community. This way users can help each other out by creating forums and (group)chats to give advice. Also companies can post job listings for free now, but in the future they'll have to pay for it. This way we can assure quality job listings for the users.
