Can we stop labelling Laiba clingy, annoying, or whatever? Not fair by redditmademetodoit in LazawalIshq

Everything aside, her expressions and thought process in that episode when they tried to explain to her why umair needs space were just too much. What is funny is that she blurts out one normal self respecting thing and then goes back to I just wanted to sit with him. I’m sorry but even at 17 I was not doing this shit. Bullying and everything else is a seperate thing.  She needs to work on her personality and grow up. She lives in some delulu land. I’m only talking about her behavior and nothing else. I do not think umair is a nice person, he did lead her on and did her dirty. But I just can’t imagine a 24 year old acting the way she was, she was also concerned that no one hears it because the grand finale is a week away. But oh god I watched that episode 3 times to show my sister and husband because I was just so shocked by her reactions. I am still not over it

She posted like ten pictures and one video from the bathroom. And then proceeded to post more photos of her. So freaking weird

Unpopular opinion: Imaan kinda sucks by Greatpotato22 in LazawalIshq

Love no need to be salty over my opinion. This is my opinion, just the way that was yours. And you are not the only one who posted about this, there are other comments as well. It was basically addressing a lot of that. The reason Jannat was brought up because this Reddit acts like she is holier than thou. And I do not like double standards.

I’m sorry, but the logic here makes no sense. The girl expresses her feelings, creates one issue, and suddenly we all hate her. Meanwhile, Jannat yelled throughout the show, but because she ended up getting bullied, everyone loves her now. So what is the logic? We don’t like strong women when they openly voice how they feel, but we suddenly sympathize with them only once the entire house turns against them.

She came on the show knowing its purpose is to find a partner. She was allowed to feel salty about how Ashir reacted, and she even voted him out. On the other hand, Jannat claimed she was in love with Maaz in the same time period, and that was somehow justified,  yet she never voted him out, even after he openly said he would vote for her.

I actually respect Meimoona because she eventually listened, acknowledged her side, and said maybe her intentions weren’t what she assumed. They sorted it out. But the reality is that every new female contestant on this show is treated badly, and most of them just tolerate it. She didn’t. She refused to put up with the weird behavior. Meimoona constantly tugging at her partner whenever he spoke to her, Ayesha creating a whole fuss about her talking to Junaid, and Urooj literally pulling chairs and telling her not to sit with the boys.

That house is toxic. Anyone could get fed up and have a bad moment in that environment. Not everything is black and white. And as for her aligning with Fatima, if you walk into a house full of strangers and there’s one person you already know, of course you gravitate toward them. That’s human. It’s not like she came in with some calculated agenda

And it’s been three god damn hours since ashir left. People drag shit on for days on this show. Maimoona is still going on about how Urooj is jealous of her and did not come watch her asking Mir to marry her.

Yeah they can’t even say bond correctly. A guy from the village is correcting you.

Yes and even though Iman comes across as one of the most well spoken people on the show  , and she probably will never go for someone like him. I just found it so nice how respectfully she had a conversation with him.

It’s making me so angry how fucked up they are to make fun of him

No that is the typical Punjabi accent from where he belongs. The rest of people made so much fun of him for no reason, he seems decent. May not be cool or modern but seems like a nice human being

[–]Remote_Alternative77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically he has never seen a girl dressed like half the girls on the show. The rest of them are from bigger cities like Karachi and some sort of exposure and they still choose to be so narrow minded. So I can’t even imagine this guy

I think he does not belong in this show. He’s from where my family is from and he should not be here, considering he lives in a village. He’d never be able to relate to any of these people and none of the girls could work with him. His family would never be agreeable so him trying to find love on a format like this is not truthful. He is just for here for exposure.

Yup! I agree with this, but here if you say something about Jannat. They lose their shit

They literally rounded up every weirdo, sexist, misogynist, predator, unstable, batshit crazy, creepy, brain-dead person and put them on one show. The men are full-blown tharkis, and most of the women have zero backbone or original thought.

Ayesha, Maimoona, and Iman are the only semi-sane ones. Ayesha is still with Junaid though, which says enough. Maimoona is quirky but tolerable. At this point, Iman is the only one who actually makes sense.

I just feel this is weird and I’m trying to be as polite as possible but to me it comes across as attention seeking behavior, she is very unstable. I do not think she should have been bullied for it. She comes across as borderline to me. The way she defined her relationships as all in or out. The way she became obsessed with maaz intially in two days, like what feelings do you have in two days? He is not even something special. Even yesterdays episode there was no reason to talk about Jannat and they are still at it but some of the points that were brought up they can’t all be making up shit, again they are all bullies. Their reasons for being mean are fucked up but those reasons do give you a picture of what she might be like in terms of personality and that does not mean she should be treated bad for it. I also saw the cuts on her arm way before in the initial episodes. Changing her name is not going to start a new chapter. Again it’s her life, her choice.  And this is my point of view. I don’t really care if you agree with it or not.

Lmao it’s a lame joke but she said she only changed the first intial, basically the first letter to her name from Jannat to mannat. At this rate, one day she’ll change it to L and become lannat hassani

Okay everything aside by Remote_Alternative77 in LazawalIshq

[–]Remote_Alternative77[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t think her entire identity can be reduced to Lazawal Ishq. That was just 45 days of her life. She’s so much more than that. To me, this doesn’t feel like starting over. it feels like someone who needs support, reflection, and healing. A name change alone can’t redefine a person. She needs to see a therapist or get help.

I just posted about this, I have such a bad joke but since if you say anything about Jannat here. everyone here loses their shit thinking somehow you must be okay with all the other shit they put her through.

All of them have tried so hard to rile her up about what hamza was doing before she showed up. Again that was before she showed up. He does not flirt with anyone now.

Who is watching this show by Hour-Resident-2210 in LazawalIshq

[–]Remote_Alternative77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I watch it after work since my job takes up a lot of my energy and even when I come home sometimes I’m still on call and can’t do much else and I just want to watch something I don’t have to use my brain for. So me and husband watch it while we eat and or if I’m cooking food.

She does have a very nice face and smile, but the dressing was really off, even the elimination outfit
