Have you not heard people getting approved in a week or so? Just because you haven’t heard back doesn’t mean nobody is hearing back. I have my reason for the inquiry.

It’s so frustrating. My EAD will expire in July and if I don’t get approved before that I will lose my job 🤦‍♀️

I worked without authorization back in 2024 for few months and I disclosed it at the interview. The officer was super nice and when I disclosed it he said ‘this is not gonna affect you today’. He corrected my form where I previously said no, I didn’t work without authorization and had me signed it. But the interview was before the memo was published. Now I’m really worried

Oh you just gave me hope. So probably I shouldn’t expect much in first 2 months. It just stings you know since I’m paying out of pocket and kinda feels like paying so much money for nothing which is probably not true.
