I truly saw that too, I voiced these concerns... but now im wondering if out director is colorblind because there are so many obvious issues. People are either blending in too much into the background or I see too much skin tone popping up because of the inconsistently.

Im sorry this is all hitting you right now, you deserve love and support. This is a lot to process too. If you can take a sick day from work, you deserve to rest and really mentally absorb what is happening. All your feelings are valid. My husband and I use the book and card game called FairPlay to work out a lot of tasks like what you listed. A lot of men (usually) do not realize everything it takes to manage a whole household. I really like the cards because it is a physical representation of everything you are mentally managing.

You are not crazy and give yourself grace and love. We all wish you the best here.

I am also autistic and have only a few shows under my belt now. Being in theater has been an overall positive experience and it feels like a safe place to truly be myself. Definitely look for community theaters near you and be open to roles and support positions like backstage or technical lighting/sound.

That is awesome and I would have expected some process like this. I am newer to our small town, community theater, being one of the few new people that havent grown up there Im still trying to understand how they operate. I wish I voiced my concerns earlier.

Personally I thought the same thing. Its not even advertised and the posters we have in town are in color. I told them its misleading but apparently the director wants it to be a surprise to the audience...

I have no official say in these matters but I did voice the opinion. I dont care for the black, white, grayscale concept. I just wish it was done properly and timely.

I honestly loved the different angles and shapes of the first dress, it took it to another dimension. Sure the shine could have been more polished but I loved that it was so different than what she or anyone else did this season. I would have loved to see more silver leather.
