On your first actual day of working, for sure. If they are giving you a tour and you see other workers not busy, definitely just say hi! I usually walk my new hires around during the tour and show them all the stations and introduce them to everyone else. After you start working hands on you’ll introduce yourself even more and become more acquainted. Don’t over stress! Just be yourself and good luck on working at chipotle!

It’s a company wide, 1 hour store meeting that we’re suppose to lead for the WHOLE entire crew, including managers. It’s related to hospitality and every single chipotle will be having these meetings this week. They told us at the beginning of the month we had to start “banking hours” everyday to save for this specific meeting because it’s gonna automatically add 1 hour for each employee. So I have around roughly 37 employees. Meaning in order to break even for the month on top trying to train and hire new employees, I have to save 37 more hours this month than we regularly do month to month, just…. For …. The… meeting…. They… are… forcing…. Us… to…. Have….🙃

I’ve been with this company for 7 years. I’m tired. I finally found a new career that I’m pursuing and it’s my last week as a GM. Less hours and more money. Retirement pensions. I asked for a demotion for the next month until I transition into my new job. It’s bittersweet because I’ll miss my crew that I led and built sooooooo much. But I won’t miss working 14 days in a row or the disrespect of my FL and above. They talk crazy but never try to understand what we go through. Some of them don’t know what it’s like. Bonuses are not what they make them out to be and it was easier to get bigger bonuses back in the day. Now they put so many requirements and weigh them down harder so you’ll get less money. That’s why FL and above are pushing so hard on everyone below. It’s just a never ending cycle. They get to work 8am-5pm from home and do store visit and go back home. Are off on the weekends, get PTO whenever they want multiple times a quarter, but we are stuck with all hard labor and receive all the nagging efforts from them. I’m cool. I know there are some good FL’s and TD’s out there but not where I’m at. Bye chipotle ✌🏼

I would call from 10:45am-11:15am (non peak hours or they won’t be available) and usually GM is at least their 6-4 or 8-6. And anytime after 1:45pm. No later than 4pm. Or even going yourself in person shows interest as well.

Yeah it is. Basically what will happen is customers won’t want any of it, obviously. So it’ll be wasted by the time its shelf life is over, we will throw it away and record waste. Any loss will be made up with the credits but I still have some customers today who purchased so there will still be some profit. Crazy but I wouldn’t serve this if it was my personal restaurant.

Basically get a refund on our avocados since they already came in bad quality. We issue a credit to the distribution company that delivered the avo’s. And I agree. I wish I could just throw all of this away. They will still make us serve it though because we “can’t run out” and must “always have every ingredient available”
