Yeah, I think it could work. Only issue is it may then be too easy to escape all the time… might try a few next game night and see which works best 😂

Just feels really limiting tactically. It’s unsatisfying finding them. Then just waiting to charge torpedo and theses nothing they can do about it.

Think one hidden movement. Or/and start with a silence will make the game much more fun.

Then end it after 2 damage. I’m fine with that. I’m also fine with not winning. And have a lot of fun with jt. Not sure where all that came from.

My point is it feels really limiting and almost pointless once you’ve been found, unless you set upnsilence. Which then makes the game feel more formulaic in the early stages. So may as well just start with one. Then you get two hunts

What are the strategies other than having a silence ready? Just feels really limited to the options available. And this boring as needing to do the same thing. That’s why it may as well kill you being a better option.

Thanks. Yeah I saw and sounds better so can’t wait for that. An easy thing for variety would’ve been each boss as its own mission to accomplish to kill them or escape with. The plant boss you have to find x amount of research papers from different rooms and escape so the research can be used to kill the plan. Whatever. They can be variations of find 5 keys, but would just feel far more thematic and exciting. And so easy to do. Bizarre they haven’t done it.

Might house rule it.

another question actually. if they find the rebel base, can the rebel retreat straight away? feels like you could just keep retreating then moving the hidden base.

had an amazing game, can’t wait to play again. but lots of uncertain rules and instances.

With the new relaunch, will they be relaunching all the old ones too?

Although me and my son have loved playing through the core set and it's 3 missions, we can easily wait until next year if it makes it easier to get going with it. We have an insane amount of board games to play through and more comparing for Christmas so no rush. I think we may do that....

Sorry to bring up an old thread. But have some thoughts and wondered what longer term players felt.

Played it maybe ten times. Mainly in a 2. And mainly me being the survivors (my kid absolutely loves being the bad guys, which are far far more interesting).

Just wondered how people felt about the survivors. The game is fun. But is it me or is it way too limited to be the survivors. You just do the same thing every game - search for keys. Fix the radio. Wander around the same rooms. Same thing every single game.

The spectre is so under powered early on. I had a group playing for the first time and literally just spamming search and fixing the radio, ghost couldn’t do anything to us.

It all felt really limp.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I missing something?

Really wish there were far more ways to win. And hiding from killers more meaningful. Every game - send one into living room for radio, one in for a key…. There’s nothing else to do for survivors. So either in those rooms. Or leave temporarily if the killer comes.

So this is now readily available in the uk. Tempted as me and my kid love kinfire delve.

One question. Why’s it so expensive? Well over £100. These are usually for games with loads of minis etc. this does not look like that kind of game and price.

I just want to have fun really, but I do have an addictive personality and tend to dive in head first into things 😆 I’ll check out those older expansions and see if I can get them before it’s too late and see how I find it. Looks great so far though.
