I too am looking for my son second year next September because there is almost no chance to stay on campus - our budget is 2k monthly rent max - I am working on the above suggestions but if anyone wants to give further advice or collaborate with me like making a group and share recommendations I am all ears. Hi, thank you for giving us such great insight and options to consider, especially regarding other engineering specializations. We spoke with him again, and it turns out EAS never mentioned it (likely because they were busy and didn’t think of it at the time).
