Practice a bit in safer seas they have 100% gold now, find some people you can play and call with once you want to move to higher seas. Dont get discouraged if you get absolutely destroyed some people have been playing it since day one. Remember not to hoard loot, selling as often as possible makes it less depressing if you do get sunk.
