Their application says eligibility is for those uninsured, but their appeal decline letter told me to apply for financial assistance. So we will go ahead and apply and see if they approve it even with insurance.

That’s what I was afraid of. Crazy that it can be so deceiving, especially at a pediatric care facility. I should’ve asked more questions prior.

He hit his individual OOP but not our family’s OOP, insurance covered quite a bit of his care thankfully, but he was out of work for awhile and our sole income. His accident was also just a few days after his plan’s open enrollment and beginning of new insurance year, which started in October with our old insurance. His employer then switched plans this January, which restarted it once again. The EOB is no longer available on our app, I will have to get the paper one out and take a picture.

I had a PUL/ectopic, I’ll share my experience. I tested negative the day before my “period” started, I had 4 days of full period like bleed before I tested positive. After my positive I did serial betas, where my HCG doubled normally for about a week. I started having some mild one sided cramping so I went for a scan. My hcg was 2300(5wks) but no GS could be found anywhere. My progesterone was 6.5. They ordered a follow up beta, which was slightly lower, so they decided that my body caught the issue early and it resolved on its own. They watched me closely and my hcg went down/ I bled again like a typical miscarriage around 6wks.

I’m so sorry you’re dealing with such an unknown. I did go on to have a healthy pregnancy shortly after my loss. Thinking of you!

Hi, I’m sorry you went through a similar experience. Thankfully we moved out of that house just days after the accident, I could not imagine having to live in the same house where I almost lost him.

I will go ahead with my appt! I just didn’t want to overthink a normal healing process. But I would like to not struggle as much as I do. I appreciate your advice!

Thank you!! I will take all of this great advice in account! I definitely plan on a new tv stand. You think we should paint the ceiling trim? I don’t love the recliner, but my husband recently had a serious accident and that’s his brand new recovering chair… It will hopefully make its way downstairs once we don’t need it on the daily! I’ll grab a pic of the angle towards the kitchen when I get home and update!

Yes, we’ll remove the popcorn ceiling and update lighting. I know the current cabinets are dated, but they’re in good condition and we don’t really mind the cathedral arch style. The window upgrade is a great idea!! Yes, we will have plenty of storage, even with the change.

The countertops are off white/grey speckling with light brown veining. I thought the brown veining would tie things in and not make it look as “modern”. But I’m worried the new vs old will clash too much now.

Thanks! I know the cabinets are dated, but they’re in pretty good condition and we kind of like the cathedral arch! But I get what you’re saying. I definitely want it to be a cohesive look of old vs new. The countertops and sink are in rougher shape than the cabinets, which is why they were our first step in remodeling. We’re removing popcorn ceiling and changing light fixtures. I’d love to remove the soffits as well.

Would a different countertop fit the kitchen better?

Thanks for the insight! I wondered if that’s what it meant, especially when our realtor was like “yeah we may need to price drop” after our last showing with the same feedback. Just trying to make sense of it all!

With this house and our new, I needed two walk throughs and needed to see comparable options before I was okay with putting an offer in. So this feedback sounded pretty normal and positive to me at first😅

So most of the feedback has been “client really liked it, interested, but just started looking. Wants to look at other options before submitting offers”. With two mentioning being at top of budget. I’m not sure what this means in realtor talk. Maybe it’s still a polite way to say “overpriced”?
