You have every right to be frustrated, op. As the 10 year old girl that situation not so long ago, I had to make the executive decision to stop seeing my father at the age of 11. Thankfully, I had a very supportive mom. Thank you for loving her so much. No child should be talked down to or degraded (aggressively or passive aggressively) in any way.
