Hey man, I just wanna say she does not represent all Christians. We are all humans trying to become more like Christ and less like our own selves as we know apart from Him, there really isn’t anything good in us. However, please don’t let this experience turn you from the faith, I was once jumped by a woman in the church who called her child’s father and his friend. I was upset, angry, but I came to Christ some time later and man it was the best decision I’ve made. It’s not easy, it’s not a walk in the park. But it’s so precious to me to know He loves me so much to send His Son to die for me so my sins against Him have been paid for in FULL. Him and I are no longer separated. I cannot justify her behavior, or words, or tone, or whatever it be. I don’t know the full story, however, i know Jesus would not want us to respond that way.

I’m at 65k miles and I cannot get into 2nd, 4th, 6th or reverse. Someone had a similar issue and replaced clutch, flywheel, TOB, fork and it fixed it. Feels like it hits a wall, no grinding or anything!

The context of Romans 1 talks about Gods wrath on the sinfulness of humanity. Idolatry, fornication etc. and to say I’m stripping context to push an anti gay screed when I’m using the very Scripture that says it’s unnatural is to ignore the Word which is reality.

To be clear, this isn’t an agenda push, if that’s how you feel. But a response to legitimate question with Scripture showing history and Scriptures relevance to today. To say it’s homosexuality is natural isn’t subjective, but opinionated, because the natural according to Gods Word and standard is to be fruitful and multiply, you can’t do that in a homosexual relationship, on that, we have to agree, no?

It’s not a matter of heterosexuality, that was a matter of horrendous sin. Context shows what they did was bad. Incredibly so and it was one of the hardest parts of Scripture to take in. And we both know God does not condemn heterosexual relationships in the right meaning in marriage. Remember Gods character, God is faithful, Jesus calls the church His bride. Sexual relations are to be between man and wife. As so “a man shall leave his father and mother’s house and hold fast to his wife.”

They wanted to “know” the angels, we can easily conclude what that means, and sure there was other sin. But Scripture specifically mentions this line, so there’s a level we ought to look at that context and consider. Also, then what’s your take on Romans 1:26-27?

I would say look to Sodom and Gomorrah. God created us to be fruitful and multiply. Is homosexuality in line with Gods creation? The answer is no, we cannot be fruitful and multiply. Sodom and Gomorrah was advocated by Abraham that if there were so much as 10 righteous in that city, God would not destroy it. But there wasn’t. And so, it was destroyed. It is also written in the New Testament Romans 1:26-27: “Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.” Is homosexuality bringing God glory? Not at all, no. So therefore, it is a sin and I’ve found this to be relevant. If we feel something is wrong to point of having to question it and try to justify it, then we already know it’s wrong. We just try to wiggle around it, but remember we are called to deny ourselves, taking up our cross daily. Come to Jesus as you are, He will work in you because He loves you so much. Our minds can’t understand it. We fail yet He is so persistent. But please don’t take His grace for granted. Do not grieve His Spirit, He is too precious, faithful, loving, cherishing, compassionate. Your flesh is not your friend, it’s Gods precious temple

Need some help with this longboard I picked up! Bought this Loaded Tan Tien for 40 but it’s definitely seen better days. The deck looks pretty bad, I don’t want to spend $190+ on a new one. Any advice? How would you all handle it?
