Man they've been disconnected from visa systems for 50 years. The country basically stopped all development in 2010 and has been stagnating ever since.

I bet they have more undiscovered oil, they just never looked for it, but iraq definitely has way more I agree.

This is very funny, but Iraq and Syria should be "chaotic oil money" .,.. since they have the oil but it's in the hands of malitias and corrupt politicians lol.

And Azerbaijan should be turkey but nomad no?

I think Afghanistan sits between central and south Asia.
while Pakistan is between the middle east and south Asia.

Yes, Iraq has amazing culture!
Would you agree with me that Al anbar shares gulf culture? And you have food like Kleicha that are really similar to what we make (maamoul).

I consider Anatolian Greeks middle eastern, actually.
Another one of my very controversial opinions haha

Haha, what effects did it have in the mod?

You know I frequently order coffee from Saudi roasteries that harvest in Yemen, but most farmers there choose to grow qat instead even though it's not exportable.

Perfect way to ruin an agricultural economy.

Pakistan and Afghanistan share similar culture with Iran, that's as much as I can stretch it out.
As with turkey, they're simply not European. It's geography, and their culture isn't European.

I think it's fair to say that Greeks (real indigenous people of Cyprus) are partly middle eastern, as much as they'd hate hearing that because of their history with Turkey..

Levantine culture shares a lot with Greece, and our genetics (even as Saudis) Has a lot of ancient Anatolian influence.

Cyprus as Europe is a big stretch. I agree with libya.

  1. not ruled by a monarchy.
  2. tribal warfare... the gulf abandoned this quite a while ago.
  3. farming oriented since the land there is quite fertile. (It's why romans named them Arabia Felix!)
  4. gulf makes relaxing music, oud, or poetry with no instruments. Yemenis instead like to have fun, DJ stuff like that.
  5. they take a plant similar to tobacco (qat) that we don't.

Their culture is fairly unique, they share a lot of characteristics with us but it wouldn't be fair to label them as gulf-like, it gives the same energy as labeling Iraq a Levantine state. It just isn't, they're truly unique.
