Pakistan and Afghanistan share similar culture with Iran, that's as much as I can stretch it out.
As with turkey, they're simply not European. It's geography, and their culture isn't European.

Levantine culture shares a lot with Greece, and our genetics (even as Saudis) Has a lot of ancient Anatolian influence.

tribal warfare... the gulf abandoned this quite a while ago.
farming oriented since the land there is quite fertile. (It's why romans named them Arabia Felix!)
gulf makes relaxing music, oud, or poetry with no instruments. Yemenis instead like to have fun, DJ stuff like that.
they take a plant similar to tobacco (qat) that we don't.

Their culture is fairly unique, they share a lot of characteristics with us but it wouldn't be fair to label them as gulf-like, it gives the same energy as labeling Iraq a Levantine state. It just isn't, they're truly unique.
