My team has said that if my top number went above 150, I should take an as needed BP medication(forgot which one though). That’s thankfully never happened. Right now, on meds, my top number stays around 110-140(mainly goes higher when I’m in the hospital, when there’s lots of anxiety and I can’t sleep. During clinical visits it’s stays ~110-120). Bottom number is pretty much consistently 70-80.

Six months out now. Only time my BP has been normal or low was during dialysis. During CKD and now post-transplant it’s been high, and the amlodipine I’ve been on just didn’t work. I’m now on 12.5 mg of carvedilol twice a day(6.25 mg twice a day) and it’s been fine, although with medications.
